Hey guys, like some of you know, i am a beastly mapper. But what will blizzard incorporate into the SC2 map editor... I already know that there will be 1,000 locations (thank god). and alot more unit capactity. But what about the triggers, terrain, and... colors.
What do you think?

Personally, I hope they add a trigger "Command 'howmany' 'unit' at 'location'."
Easier to understand it like than than having to just to the regular Bring trigger. =\

Yeh, i agree. Especially with the pressure us people are putting on blizz xP... they prolly do the least work on the editor.

They ought to give more than 1000 locations, screw the limits! In 10 years our computers will be able to support so many more triggers.

Okay. First of all mouse, think about what you just said. Now think about all the maps that were made with only 256 locations..... 1000 i'd say is more than enough.

I'd like a feature where you can blend diffrent Terrains together. For Example: Jungle/Snow.

Post all this on blizz's forums and they might add it to the map editor (if its not there already) but i'm happy that they'll let us link multiple maps so you can have a truly huge map.

Yes, that would be very cool Gamer. Also, they should make the maps bigger than 256x256.. but I understand why it wouldn't be bigger (is it the 256 conspiracy?)
rgb(256,256,256)
256 colors (for standard computer monitor)
256x256 map sizes for Starcraft
What will be next?
*cough*256x256x256*cough* Lol. That would be insane lol.

Plus, it would make UMS RPG maps more epic.

Just think, if someone made a map, for Example, Final Fantasy 7. Instead of just one terrain template, the creator would be able to create the enviroments, like the snowy area, the dessart, ect.

It would make future ums maps exicting!

>8D... But also, if you think about it, when you use the editor, with all the terrains, it'll be hella laggy. Currently, it opens one terrain file at a time, not every single one.

Oh, of course there will be better third party programs, I just hope they made the standard area good the first time.
