Music Formatting

So I have my one album that's in WMV format, that I need to change to MP3 format to put on my MP3 player.
I'm sure I can do this by burning the album and change the format there, then ripping it in the new format.. that takes an awful lot of time though. I need a quicker solution in case I run into this problem again.

I don't wish to dl a program that can do this. I prefer to see if there is a way to do this with my existing programs that typically come standard on a Windows OS.

Ideas?

Is it possible that the windows media player has such a feature? I know itunes can convert between mp3 and mp4, but I'm not sure about the wmv....

My opinion would be that you'd have to download a new program. i had this weird ass program to convert videos, so I feel confident that there should be a program for what you wanna do.

Yeah I kinda figured this was what was going to end up happening.
I was more or less hoping for a trick to do this with like Windows Media Player like with burning cds. idk thx tho

Anyone else got any ideas?

google told me you needed a program, but i don't know windows media player very well. there might be secrets out there

that program gave me a .mp4 video with no sound though
