So I currently work for dell and I like to give out free stuff so why not my profession. Can do anything but hardware replacement. Can use teamviewer or I can walk you through it. I can also help remove those fake virus scans and keyloggers.
Also can answer questions on compadibility and hardware installation
You can always send me your crashed computer for repair using my dell cust # to ensure safety.
Do not use this service if nothings wrong and please do not spam.

multiple times?
are you sure the mobo was fried? sounds like bad connections if you tried multiple ones.
what symptoms lead you to believe it was fried? _____________________

i had this same problem, and you wouldn't believe how many other people have.
go back to in your case, and switch the reset and power button cords around.
they label the power button connector RESET and the reset button cord POWER. _____________________

I'm getting a USB bugcode BSOD occasionally. It happens when I stream w/ xsplit, and only started happening when I got my Webcam, Logitech C930. On rare occasion, I'll get a BSOD directly after boot up. I've tried drivers galore including mobo, usb. Any idears? |

the first time i did it i think i fried it or it was already fried since that mobo comes in alot dead on arrival...i took it to someone and they said i had all the wires right and it was the mobo so i ordered a new one different brand and i thought this one was dead also but i think i forgot to plug in some wires =/ also dnote this was 1 month ago it's already done i had to pay someone 20 bucks to do it
but reason i'm asking is because i'm gonna buy another comp and i want to build it up again and i don't want the same problems xD |

i'm almost certain that was the problem.
to get 2x DOA mobos is un likely.
and if it cost you $20 to fix then the mobo was certainly not fried.
for some reason (foreigners) they mix up the reset and power button labels.
good chance you connected the power cord to the reset on the mobo, and vice versa.
i was building my boss a computer and i had it all done but the thing wouldn't turn on.
did some googling, switched the cords, worked perfect.

strictly hardware or software upgrades? do you have a budget?
main thing you can do is add RAM.
fixing registry errors, disk clean up and defraging regularly will add to pc responsiveness.
i recommend download ccleaner and running the registry fix and clean up every week at least.
as well as defraging weekly.

Are you wanting to clear programs out? Is it slow on start up? Or just generally slow?
One thing I would go ahead and do is (Vista) hit the windows bar and type in msconfig.exe you will be prompted just hit ok. Go over to the start up tab once you are there hit disable all. This will take out all uneeded programs at the startup which will majorly improve your pcs performance. You will have to restart your computer afterwards tho. Also add remove programs all your uneeded items and delete anything in your program folder you dont need <<<EMPTY THE RECYCLE BIN!!
