i currently need help with what to do with what ..... like my stats are
152 str
151 dex
756 vit
727 int
with only 361.93 damage what is wronge with it?????

a nice chunk of your damage will come from your wep as well as other gear.
upgrade and gain levels if you're not 60 already.

Yes, all spell damage is based off of weapon damage, upgrade your weapon, your damage will increase

so does int help at all for damage? cuz if it dont then im just going to get rid of my int/vit gear and get full out vit gear

wizz & witch doctor gets their dmg from +int.
what you need to increase your dmg :
- ias, a lot of, that's the better stats, the more you have, the more you'll do (really much more with much ias)
- int 2k is minimum at lvl 60
- a weapon with high base ias / dps ; adds on it huge int + ias

I know rite... there is a reason to why my stats are so low cuz i was sick for 2weeks and have is busy but im building up there......not a noob .....atm i am but not in general haha

int increases the % of dmg of your weapon... if you have low dmg weapon then obviously you don't use the int very much for example it's better to have 500 int with a 500,00 dmg weapon (500x500% you'll do 2.500 dps) than 1k int with 100,00 dmg weapon (1.000x100% you'll do 2.000 dps) it's a bit late so i don't know if the counts are right but anyway the point is that the more dmg the weapon has and the faster it attacks the more dps you do . (this is for all classes not wiz only). hope it helped

allright.
but he should get the max int as he can even with low weapon as int increase dmg and resistances.
He can buy low weapon for 50-75k on ah (with 5xx- 800 dps which is quite enough for solo / p X in hell.

stacking ias for a WD won't do you much good.
get a high dps weapon, like 800+
then stack intel/vit
