I'm not looking for hardcore nerd-out time, just a chill time playing through the game with no major rushes for the first couple acts or until we beat normal.

Why?
Even if D3 was EXACTLY the same as WoW (assuming that's what Cracked meant), it is still free to play online (besides the original purchase). Why not play a new free version of a Pay to play game?
And of course the two games will have some similarities, they are introduced by the same major company. That is not a negative thing.
Not that I agree with you at all about them being exactly alike, because the gameplay will be far different than WoW.
I seriously hope he was talking about WoW and not WC3.

And about your idea of "Blizzard just wants more money." Blizzard is a massive gaming company, of course they are looking to earn some money. That doesn't mean it's the sole purpose of developing it, and really shouldn't effect your opinion on the game at all anyways. More money means more updates and attention to making the game better and hack free.
Also, D2 is HORRIBLE. Why people still spend money on that game is beyond me. But even if you personally don't like D3, how does D3 being released ruin D2? They aren't forcing you to quit playing D2, and if D3 affects D2 in anyway, it'll most likely just cause people to stop botting, and make the game more fun for real players anyways.

Nice one at playing while you are supposed to be studying Well the best was university / fac. When i was studiying (a large word) in there. We were making some lan party of mw1 (yes, long time i did leaved it ) and watching movies / animes on our laptops while conf master was doing his shit. Back to topic, only 5 days left <3 Well in fact in 30 min we'll be the 11th at west europe so soon 4 :p So excited. And stop bullshits about d2, this old game is gonna die in a few days. You don't like d3, cause you will not be able to use your bot, your tmc, or whatever ? _____________________
