|
|
Ok so I've been working on my melee sorc for a while now and I've finally got it right. I can take an entire duel game without healing once!
Stats:
Str- enough for gear (about 100)
Dex- enough for max block when fully equipped
Vit- everything here
Mana- nothing at all
Skills:
Enchant- 20
Warmth- 20
Fire Mastery- 20
Light Mastery- 20
Teleport- 1
Pre-requisites- 1
Frozen Armor- Rest
Gear:
Helm: Dream bone visage
Shield: Dream Grim shield or monarch (disconsider monarch because of high str req)
Armor: Dragon or Fort (some prefer to only use one dmg aura, in fort's case it would be Holy Shock and you also get ed from Fort.)
Weapon: Passion phase blade (I dont think you can make it in a zerker but if you can then get a zerker for some extra dmg)
Weapon/Shield Switch: I think this one might be obvious.. Cta and spirit monarch
Belt: Dungos
Amulet: Angelic wings
Rings: Angelic halo
Gloves: Dracs or Bloodfists
Boots: Gore riders
Inventory:
Storch (hi-attributes)
Anni (hi-attributes)
10x 20 lifers
5x light gcs
4x Fire gcs
Conclusion: I know that this is an extremely expensive build to make but it is SOOOOO worth it.. trust me. I thought I had lost all interest in D2 until I made this sorc and my auradin and now its fun for me again! And btw, I've done ubers with this sorc, to do so you need dracs on and you can try using Last wish zerker. The life tap and ignores target defense helps alot. Otherwise, Passion is the best choice because of the +1 to zeal.
THIS BUILD DOES ABOUT 75K DMG AFTER YOU'VE BO'D AND ENCHANTED!!!
Have fun guys and stay cool

Only problem i have with this is that it's like a sorb-able zealer without charge. Sure, you have tele, but your fcr will be so low that it wont matter. You probably wont have max block, and if you do your life will suck.
I would suggest making a bowsorc. Guided arrow really owns. |

First of all, even though it was very harsh, thank you for being the first to actually post something..
Second of all, with max block on this sorc i still have 2.8 k life when i bo
Third of all, this is almost an auradin with way enhanced aura dmg do to the masteries, so if youre against someone who keeps running and you're not teleporting fast enough, your aura will eventually kill him.
and
Finally, yes, I agree, a bowsorc with widowmaker is amazingly fun. XD _____________________

Didn't mean that to be harsh, sorry.
If you want to stack, the sorc can be good, but, that's bm. Just personally, i find bowsorcs work a lot better and are more fun. |

True that man, but you know what, my melee sorc can actually beat a lot of ppl even without stacking. Its like my friends auradin, he killed uber diablo without stacking and he can own duels without stacking cuz he still does 9.7k charge, so you know.. but again I agree with you that bowsorc is amazing and dont worry bout being harsh, i like feedback no matter how negative it is. _____________________

I like the build but i think instead of rest going into frozen armor i would invest in Telekinesis (maxed if at all possible) and a small amout into Energy shield. Get a Es Memory staff and invest mass points into Energy instead of Vita. Other then that the build is fine and im not saying your build is wrong or weak by any means. Im just giving my opinion on how i made my last melee sorc and she owned but it got boring pking ppl with one hit and being able to tank everything. Bowa Sorc is defenitly more fun XD.
Over all Good build! _____________________

interesting guid, gave me a lot of ideas on the basics on a melee sorc. Passion can be made in any weapon, so why not a zerker like you wont. if some one were to use the energy shield set up i would suggest sojs for mana and skill, but also the big thing with energy shield, is it is hard to make a splash for it, you would usually wont to start with es and look for damage after, also with a es melee if you run into a melee char with a lot of posion, s/he will rip right through you.
thanks again for the simple guid. |

Well for one, only es melee builds are successful.
Second, gore riders are useless, your damage is all elemental.
Use a tower shield, it has the most block and doesn't need huge strength.
Bo shield is a +1 all skills shield.
Dracs sucks for PvP, stick to the bloodfist... you don't attack fast enough.
Dragon for armor has to be a low armor like mage plate, it provides your strength for the rest of your items and this is your only source for it. Don't put more strength to get higher defense items. |
